How was Southport? Wish I could have been with you guys. I have had too much to do to even consider it. How did you get on?

Weather was great and a good day, but a long meeting! There was 13 heats and it took a long time getting everyone booked in. But we managed to get 5 rounds of qualifying and finals in before sunset, just.

We did okay given the turn out, I was in the B, Paul in the C, Rick and Tom in the D, Ste, Paul and Dave in the F. It was a fun track, Rick has some good photos.

Sorry you couldn't make it.

I had to finish Jake's bedroom before going away again this week. Plus we had family over for a BBQ. The kids have gone to grand parents for the week. Glad I didn't go if it finished that late. Well done on getting in the B.

suprised to see that my best lap time in the final was up there with the front runners, even tho I was hindered by a loose weight meaning I had only about half lock on left turns! Missing the start due to someone being on my xtal didn't help much either....:p

two cars finished joint second in that final too - not very often you see that!

I hadn't seen the detailed results, I'd just seen the points. Great driving by Dave to win with a best lap 1.5 seconds slower than second place.

Didnt realise i won lol, was great days racing and a good test for the cobra i got a few things to change then it'll be sorted

I wont be going to bury on the 2nd, not sure about our regional i may be at manchester racing at rc demon's large scale track and wont be at bury on the 20th june im at a 4 day large scale meeting in thirsk.
