I can't make it I'm afraid, my car broke the clutch release bearing on Tuesday night. I also need to change the exhaust down pipe so I will be up to my elbows in oil, grease, metal and lots of blood from scuffed knuckles.......maybe I should have just taken it to a garage and paid the £35 an hour labor..........

Jim, are you taking your mower? If not someone needs to collect the mower from my house. It won't fit in the Honda, I can't drop it off.

Good news, I have a new clutch in my car, the bad news.........the gearbox is on my garage floor. If I can get it back together by tomorrow I will be racing but I doubt I will have the XX ready so I might not be able to help set-up. I will help put away.....IF, and its a big if, I can get my Pug back together, because I had the devils own job getting it out due to the half shaft.

It was great to get out after a long break for winter. I really enjoyed it, even if I missed a round and only made 2nd in the B. I need new tyres! Thanks to Paul and Tom for giving me some spikes and lending me some spikes on rims to run on the day. What a friendly club this is.

Bring on more outdoor events please Rick, and if you have a buggy come and have a play.

If its dry next meeting I will be bring out the Optima. Yea baby, summer fun. 8)

It was a good return to outdoors and some great close racing. As I was discussing with Paul its great to have the tyre dilema outdoors rather than a contol tyre, make it great fun when you have no tyres on the car with a minute to go before the heat trying to decide what will be best to go with.

I had great fun today. Like Tom said, tyres were the talk of the morning, once the track dried a little the grip was good. Much more fun outside with a buggy and the weather was kind to us. First time outside with the X6 Squared today too and I was very pleased with it, a little but of understeer was my only worry. I had a quick go of Ste's Losi and thought that it handled much better than I remember mine doing.
The other thing I was suprised about was the trailer - apart from the mold on the tent and the dodgy big board, it didn't seem too bad, no worse really than last summer season.
