I made it out for some bashing early this morning, it was all quiet and not as freezing as it's been. Had a great time jumping and flipping the E-Revo. Just about to finish when I lost power, another Novak rotor bites the dust! :(. I wonder if the Tekin ESC is pushing more torque than the Novak ESC did.

This is getting expensive......or are you buying rotors from ebay from some iffy chap with a username of SteDcheapaschipsandrubbish?

I doubt its the torque, rotors are bonded aren't they? I would have thought its the high revs and the centrifugal forces that de-laminate them.....or is that rubbish?

When you bash do you use lots of power in the air?

I've not actually bought any rotors. First time a 3mm one snapped, Novak replaced it, then the 5mm one shattered and Novak replaced it. I bought Ste's Novak motor, which replaced that and it died today :). The last two haven't shattered though, they're intact but spinning on the shaft, I'm not sure if they could be rebonded.

I do use high revs in the air, I don't know if that would cause it to come loose on the shaft.
