Well not a bad day realy I thought . 1 thing Ill do over the next two weeks is come up with a fix for the issue's with keeping timeing gear off the damp ground, and sort the slash ramp out :-).

Thanks to all that came yesterday and battled the weather first thing. Great to see some new faces, and I hope you enjoyed the racing and come back for more. Looking forward to the next event at the steam fair, flookborough. Should be a great two days of racing.

I agree that the timing gear needs a bit of attention with regards to keeping it dry. If we have a sealed box that every goes in including somewhere for the battery to be dropped in that would be a great solution. I think yesterday's quick fix of everything on a big piece of board worked well.

I thought it was OK, raced in much worse. Hopefully the new racers will continue to come to meetings.
The numbers are looking good for the steam fair too.

When you come :?. I tried to post here when I set off, but it didn't show for some reason, I didn't see John's post until I was already at Heaves and there were 10+ of us already there.

Was a good day, I think we were lucky with the weather, seemed to be more rain in Preston and the reports from Bury weren't good.
