After lying dormant since the steam fair, a new motor not being enough to revive it, after 4 weeks waiting a Tekin RX8 ESC arrived yesterday. All plugged up and first impressions are pretty good, seems to drive the Novak motor more smoothly than my Novak did, can't wait to get it to a bashing spot.
