What are people up to? I was thinking of taking a trip to Batley for some regional practice.

I made it and got back in time for tea :). It's a great track, astro and grass, but very dusty and much slippier than Southport - no grip roll! It was all about getting grip though, new yellow mini-spikes definitely help. There's a fairly big double jump which was fun, but actually quite easy, at least in today's configuration with a short straight before and after. The track was bumpy, but there was nothing quite as challenging as Southport's back section. The sweeper at the end of the straight was bumpy, softening the rear end seemed to help mine through there, my 22 was pretty good through it all day though. The only thing I struggled with was rear traction, the track seemed to get slower through the day, I don't know why, maybe the dust getting kicked up. It was a friendly club, they had a heat just for under 13's, which seemed a good idea.
