A bit more info for you, Both my Friend and I have Schumacher 1/10 touring cars, we both live in Cumbria and are looking for a club to join (thats if the wifes will allow us out to play LOL) and any advice that may be needed for 2 complete amateurs that want to start participating in this crazy Hobby.

we always welcome new members at south lakes! :)

We only race touring cars during the winter (Burton in kendal village hall, on carpet). Were only a small club but were a friendly bunch and you'l find us most helpful!

There are a couple of regulations you will need to be aware of - tyres - we don't allow spiked tyres (they wreck the carpet), and there are limits on what motors can be used. I don't race TC's, and I cant quite remember what they are - Im sure someone will answer that soon tho...

Best thing to do is get 1/10th buggys and get time away from the other half every other week all year :-) . Or pop along to one of our meetings at have a chat . Take alook in the calander section for all our meetings .

team associated b4's , schumacher cougars, x factory x6's , losi 22's or the older xxx cr and there 2wd . We also race 4wd's and our oddball class (anything electric) . There are others out there but this is whats being run at the club at the moment . You could always rent one of 2 club cars we have so you can try before you buy . Just let us no on that one so we can have them there . We are meeting this sunday at Vicarage Park school in kendal from 9ish till 2 its behind the collage .
