I had a go today, had to install two updates as I've not played in a while. You have to go online to register your PS ID for the Academy here:

http://eu.gran-turismo.com/gb/academy/registration/

It shows up under seasonal events. It's a special track and a Nissan 350 or 370Z. Seemed a pretty tough track on slippy tyres, could do with foams! I crashed the first few laps but after I got a couple in I was ranked 2128th. Anyone else going to have a go?

I think buying a house to get broadband is a bit excessive!

I did a few more laps tonight and got to 992. Come on Rick you're a fastest lap specialist!

I had another stab today, I had dropped well out of the top 1000, I managed to get back to 910.

I think Yamauchi is supposed to have designed it especially for the Academy.
