Hi Guy's,

Heaves Hotel this coming Sunday, usual format 3 heats and a final with long breaks in between to have a look round.

For those who do not know where it is, it is very near to the A590 and A591 junction 100 yards on the Barrow side.

Start time we should all arrange to be there for 11:00 am.

On arrival inform the organizers you are exhibiting with South Lakes Model Car Club
and importantly you need your car on site, or they will try
and get you to park up at the bottom of the grounds.
We are in the top corner to the right of the house.

Usually the grass is usually short enough, however we may need to bring the
lawn mower just in case.

Regards

The Chair

Sorry, I can't come on Sunday. If you need the mower someone will need to collect it Saturday morning and either get it back to me or bring it to the steam fair Friday evening.

I'll collect the mower from you tomorrow morning, if that is OK.

Any ideas on how to get the trailer there?

I picked the mower up from Glenn this morning and was out for most of the day (Checking out new Mountain bikes!). Glad Rick is getting the trailer, I am not too sure if I would of had the RAV.

Ian, I will bring the Firestorm for a 'Truck Off' with the Slash!

Slash is coming too, it nearly had a second Slash to accompany it, but the shop was shut, so unfortunately my E-Revo's still broken too.

I went for a look at the National at Southport today, ended up staying for ages, really enjoyed watching the racing. Nice to see Neil Cragg get three straight wins in the A final.

Not really, it was dry, most people ran mini pins, some with the outside spikes cut. Saw silver rear springs on most B4s, hard to see the fronts. Would love to know Cragg's full setup, maybe CML will put it on their site.

Well it's the final that counts...

Good day today, weather held out nicely. Nice to have a bit of a crowd. Thanks to John for the race control / commentating, Paul for the mowing and Rick for trailer duties.
