No doubt there will be a few budding pilots this year. I think it's about time we organised ourselves and sorted some rules out before anything goes wrong.

Perhaps we should allocate a fixed time when we can fly? Is it time we need a flying branch of the club?

At the very least we need to make everyone present aware we may be playing at some point and we need a reliable way to ensure people and helicopters don't meet.

Can you devise some kind of competition? Landing on a cross, picking up an item, that kind of thing. I would be temped to buy one if it was a bit more interesting than, take off..........and land again.........and take off..........and land again........and take off............(and in Ricks case) crash again..........

Hi all you swing wing freaks.

Cant see any other way but to fly the heli's at the end of the meet, to eliminate any injuries.

I know it's hard but can't suggest anything else.

Kendal Aero club are running indoor meets.

The Chair.

I am personally more interested in runing the event quicker, then those with choppers can have a mess about at the end. I am not really up for 3pm finishes this year :(

no i'm definatly with you on that one i've been trying to get started, and finished earlier all last year, but there's normaly 10 mins or so when johns doing his bit and people are charging and people with brushless are undertaking a major transmision rebuild, whils people with that old technology brushes i think there called change them, skim motors and think hmm my cars too slow
