Have you got a calendar for 09/10 indoor yet, if so , where is it and what time does it start. I've heard you run a control tyre indoors, is it the Proline dirt hawg, and what is your policy on 4wd cars?

Hi Trev. We do run Proline dirt hawg's as a control tyre for 2wd buggies. Normal car for indoors is 4wd touring car. Some people might be running 4wd buggies but we have no offcial series. Mini pins are banned for the moment but if you can run your 4wd buggy with touring car tyres it would be allowed, unless you start beating everyone.

The indoor calendar has not been finalised yet. Keep an eye on the forum. It will be posted soon.

i will be running a 4WD buggy and i dont have dirt hawgs for it, i have the lovely dirt hawgs for the 2WD.

There should be enough people with a 4WD to run a class

I would have thought Dirt Hawgs are the control tyre on 4WDs as well?

One for the agenda that, because if 4WD don't run Hawgs why should 2WD!

I have road tyres (none Knobly) for the 4WD and dirt hawgs for the 2WD.
Im not gona spend money on another set on dirt hawgs for the 4WD and if this is a problem then i just wont race the 4WD.

I should be bringing a young lad with me for indoor he is 11yo and new to RC, i was gona let him use 1 of my 4WD buggys and put TC wheels on it but if tyres are gona be a issue for some people then i guess he wont be racing either.

I understand using the hawgs for 2WD and dont mind it but 4WD upto now has been for fun and been a mixed bag of cars, so if a control tyre is needed for 4WD does this mean that we will be running a propper 4WD buggy class?

I think it is more of a case of carpet preservation than anything else, don't think class/fun or anything else was involved in it. Before my time though.

Hi guys been very busy last week or 2 should get the dates sorted today though

as for tires, i'm going to run hawgs on the pred since it looks like we'll have enough cars for a 4wd heat now i don't really mind if people want to try out other tires in the 4wd heat only, so long as there not spiked tires, until we get more than 3 or 4 cars and people start getting competetive, then we'll have to look at a control tire, and unless we find something better the obvious choice is hawgs
