Late meeting call offs

I got a call from Glenn this morning at 9:10 asking if I was on my way. Doh, I just figured someone had phoned round :oops:

I guess we need to circulate an up to date mobile phone list, so we can make a decision on the morning and let everyone know when the weather's like this.

i think it was me that decided not to run, when i got to j34 it was trying to drown me. i called ian ste jo john (no reply) however i don't have numbers for the rest of them.
Also i pulled off at j34 to make the calls and almost died on a river of diesel and i wasn't even going fast, understeer oversteer no brakes not cool!

It was very bad Sunday Morning.

I decided that not running my 3.5R was not an option as I haven’t really had a good run with it so I headed for Bury Metro Buggy Club. Weather was bad but the meeting was on.

After getting to the line in round one the club chair had a barney with one of the club regulars and went home with the computer. End of meeting. Bugger! :evil:

Not happy at all. Especially as I had traveled all that way.

doh! that's bad luck Glenn! Bury is an interesting track.

Maybe we should organise some club outings to Bury, or Southport, the buggies are a lot of fun on those tracks.

Thats a great idea. I would be very interested in doing some racing at bury / southport.

That is very poor of the chair to do things like that. Thats how clubs go down the drain.

i've just found out that the north west regionals have started again, and have been given hints that we might be able to run a meeting again, however we would need the support of the full club to pull it off. i think the new track is, easier to get to, and will be a bit more interesting to run on using that banking and the bomb hole. i think we need to have a mini meeting at the next meet to gauge interest, then ask jim to approach the school for a saturady afternoon full sunday slot.

no we start at the new school next season we'd already paid up at heron hill when we decided to move, but the new place definatly has the potential for hoasting a brca round

I forgot how to drive in the final! (4th place for me

) didnt seem to be as fast as normal, not sure if it was too low, or I i need a skim or if its something a bit more seious.....
mini LST had a good thrashing (and a small fight with James' heli - sorry James!)
on the subject, has Jim uploaded any of the videoing from that meeting?

Ahem, if I might fil in the blanks from last Sundays racing. I absolutly kicked ass until the 4th minute of racing where my car cuts out.

In all of the heats the car lasted to win, but it went after 3 mins in the final so I was a sitting duck.

Can't wait for it to be fixed, then I can go full balls out!!!
