How did the mardave go Dave? did you run with the TCs or did you just have a run between rounds?

How do you reduce the size (radius) of the mardave tyres, I have some pinks (soft) but they are quite big?

they'll get used up quite quick on the back axle, or put them on the back, run the car up to speed and get the trusty sandpaper on the job, also whilst your at it slightly round the outside edge of all 4 tires

oh and incase you hadn't worked it out it makes A LOT of mess

Cheers Rick, I should have known it was going to be something as unsophisticated as that!

OK, apart from reducing the tyre size (if I can be bothered), all I have to do is put a couple of sets of cells together. Radio gear/esc is in and body is painted and fitted.

Are we still on for running them on Sunday.

I broke the mardave, last sunday I think. The plastic plate at the bottom of the motor pod had the front corner smashed off with the selt tapper left in place and this bit of platic left flapping about. Don't think I can get a spare for Monday night at Morecambe, so I have drilled a couple of new holes and moved the self tapper back 10mm. Jobs a good un!
