www.losipartshouse.com - great for losi and associated spares, usually has good stock, USA based tho, so big orders only! great website and great prices!

speedymodels - went there today and Damian was very helpful, had most of the items I wanted in stock, and even rounded the prices down. Tells me his website is up and running and doing well - www.speedymodels.com. Also said he would be willing to put a link to our site up, and possibly arrange a 5% discount for club members! hes got the trakpower lipos in stock at just £60, which I believe are BRCA legal? (someone confirm please)

models in motion - good website, ordered a bodyshell and driveshaft - both came quick, altho separate - the driveshaft was out of stock, but came just one day after the bodyshell!

now, the bad. Benracing - remember when I snapped a shock shaft? what, 2 months ago? Im still waiting on it!

Apex Models - used to be one of the best shop to order from, but recently the service and stock has gone down hill. i have not used them in a while so not sure if the service has improved.

Demon Power Products - Very helpful and have a great amount of experence. I only have praise from them.

Microtechracing - This is the main place I use for ordering parts and spares as the site has a real time stock system, so you can see when bits are in stock and not. If you have to back order something they give you a in-stock date and their service is probably the best I have ever known.

Went to Speedy at the weekend with a list of stuff half hoping to get some of it and came back with the lot. Well, apart from the bits I forgot to put on the list such as ESC voltage cutoff.

Price also rounded down.

Highly recommended.

I'm hoping to try Hobby Town USA. I have also found a good place for LIPO's, RCMART.com, they are US based but have some great deals on LIPO's.

RCMART is in Hong Kong, not that it makes much difference when mail ordering.

Well the very nice people at apex models have had there black mark removed :) . On waiting for my shell for 2 months have now changed the order for some off road tyers and some wheels chucked in and the balance forgotten as a way of them saying thanks for being a good customer . I have come to the idea not to order online now im going the old fashion of speaking so a human being . :)

I nipped to Manchester at the weekend for a spot of Christmas shopping and uncovered a new model car shop, RCMods, in the Triangle (opposite Selfridges). They're quite a big online retailer, but this is their first physical shop, apparently.

They've got a massive range of model cars, planes and helicopters of varying prices, all of which are on display in store and demonstrations are available, and they've got loads of parts as well.

The customer service was great and the staff are really friendly. Definitely worth slyly mentioning to people when discussing Christmas presents!

I've attached details below, for those less familiar with Manchester:
RCMods
Unit 14b
The Triangle
37 Hanging Ditch, Manchester, M4 3TR
