A Slash basically is a 2WD buggy! It just has wider body and bumpers.

While I generally love the ones we currently race, especially over touring cars, the Slash offers a number of advantages:

£140 for everything except battery and charger, even the wheels and tyres out of the box can and should be raced on!

The stock wheels and tyres offer enough grip to race on grass / tarmac / carpet / dirt. Traction additive isn't required. The blocky pattern is likely to last a long time.

Waterproof!

Enclosed body looks cool and should mean you can bounce off each other rather than getting tangled like open wheel buggies.

When spectator asks how much do they cost, the answer is much simpler than the usual answer: you need a car, radio, esc, motor, wheels and tyres etc...

It would be relatively easy to have some sat ready for people to try...

Disadvantages:

Nobody has one except me
