Just to let you know RVRCCC raced for the last time at Preston College on Friday.

We will be moving to our new purpose built venue at Ramp City on 2nd Oct

We have full use of this venue 7 day a week.

The track size is 30mts x 10mt with plenty of room to pit.

We will be building permanent pit tables in the near future, until then you will need to bring your own. We have plenty of chairs

At the moment we will be running 10th and Mardave on Friday nights as usual. Buggies on a Wednesday night. Large scale trucks (Wedico/Tamiya) once a month.

We will also be running a Winter series for 10ths 12th and Mardaves (not sure about buggies)

If we have enough interest in running other classes 18th/12th ect we will open another night.

The cost will stay the same £5 per night.

Doors open 7PM First race 7.30PM

Doors close when we finish

Remember the carpet and track will be laid down permanently so all you have to do is turn up and race.

In two weeks the bar will be open serving "falling down water" and food.

We won't be running any classes of cars on the same night as local clubs.

If you need any more info please email peterdotcarrollatblueyonderdotcodotuk

Ramp City Directions

For those travelling from out of town you need to come along the M55 to the very end ( do not turn off at Junction 4 ). The motorway regulations end and it becomes Yeadon Way ( A5230 ), now turn left at the first roundabout ( with metal artwork in the centre ) within a hundred yards or so you will come to another roundabout take the 2nd exit which is Cropper Road . Ramp City WSA is approx. 800 yards along here on the right.

Sorry Tom not to sure what the tyres are called but I understand they are the same as you use indoors.

Dean Wheeler who races at your club will be running the Wednesday night will have more info, he told me we will have these control tyres, 2 and 4 wheel drive. Any motor, batteries and speedo.

I will be seeing Dean tomorrow so I will get the correct details for you.

Some pictures of the new venue, we will be up and running by Friday.

Doors open 7PM

First race 7.30PM

Hope to finish around 10PM

Remember because we don't have to put the track away, all we have to do is turn the lights off and lock the door.

How many buggies do you think will be running usually on a Wednesday night?
