I will probably be able to make some blocks up on Wednesday, how many do we need, how many are you doing or have you done Glenn? How many hoses do we actually have?

The only other thing I could think of was more race system related:

Do we know how to run in round by round mode if we want/need to?

And how do you plan on running practice? Bury ran it as an extra un-timed round, whearas Southport seemd to be a more manual process.

i think the manual option sounds easier to me, print of a list of drivers, and tick off as they practice

johns bringing the pc so i'll work out how to set round by round

i think we need about 30 clamps 15 hoses at a guess

Glenn, can you let me know if you are doing some clamps. I can do some, but it will have to be tomorrow when I do them.
I don't want to do them if you have done them all already!

I'll be there Saturday and will bring the trailer, will have to leave Sunday afternoon so someone might have to take the trailer away. School will be open Sunday for refreshments. I can also help cut the grass. I've ordered some sunshine for both days  Hope it turns up on time!

I had a go at some blocks. I only had 5'' x 2" wood in the garage though. So they may not be wide enough or strong enough as the screws are close to the edge to of the block to get the hose in the middle of the block. I have put pilot holes in for the screws but it may spilt when we tighten the screws up. :x

We will just have to try them on Saturday. I have done enough clamps for six hoses (a clamp at each end). If they are no good they will go on the fire and we will have to use some other wood.

Glenn isn't home until late Thursday night and so far hasn't made any blocks. He was probably going to do something with them on Saturday.

Sorry everyone. I have been travelling this week and I have been doing very long days. I only got back late last night...or was it this morning? Anyhoo, thanks to Mrs Glenn for keeping you all informed.

I have done many blocks ready for Saturday. I also have screws but my drill is buggered so I can't drill pilots but they won't be required anyway as the wood is chip board. Just in case we have an issue can someone bring the generator and a drill on Saturday? I will bring everything else.

I can probably supply most things we need, especially if someone brings a generator! Two extra wide ramps are ready, I'll get the club trailer there for about 10 ish. Sunshine has already arrived hope its lasts!
