Right So far we have sorted out

Area to race
Trailer for rostrum
Use of school for catering and toilet facilitys
Plastic fencing got 50m for £19

Will we have access to Jim's and the Clubs mower?

if we pick an area would there be any volenteers for mowing on saturday?

can we have a list of names that are willing to arrive very early on sunday morning, maybe 7.30? to get everything set up, as we can't really set up on the saturday

we will need some line marking paint, preferably nice and bright, probably worth getting a few cans anyone want to take this on

we need to sort out getting the guttering, i think Phil Ball might still have this

we also need to sort out some stiff wire to pin the track down

anything else to add?

marshall point boards maybe?

perhaps some laminated arrows to guide people off the main road? (only suggestion, nor neccessities really)

sorry I can't help set up or attend, Im actually gutted! BUT, I'm sure I won't let it bother me too much whilst in france watching some proper racing :D

good idea, i think if we put the clubs banner on the school fence early on, that would help people find it, and see if we can get somthing on a lamp post at the end of the road too

I can help set up, we should mow on the Saturday, we don't want petrol mowers running early on the Sunday. I have the club mower and will bring it on Saturday. I have some very thin wire for the track.

we have some thick tinned copper wire at work if you get desperate? not sure if its strong enough to poke into the ground if its hard, and may be hard to pinch enough! will tent pegs do the job?

Garden wire normally does the trick.

Hi all, I'm really glad this is coming together. I'm very sorry though that I won't be much help or even able to make it.

My return date has been pushed back to 15th June -doh. If there was any easy way for me to be back I would be, as gutted as I am about the racing I'm even more gutted to be spending my first 6 weeks after my honeymoon away from Jo. I'll be back on the 15th even if I have to swim and can't wait to get back to racing.

As for the prep, must we worth mowing on the Saturday and at least marking the track out, making sure it conforms to whatever the rules are about size and width. If people had time it would be good to test the guttering and securing method so it's ready on the Sunday.

We are missing you as well mate. Can't believe they sent you away for so long after your wedding. That really sucks. Looking forward to your return. Maybe we could all get together for a BBQ bash after the regionals? Partners will be invited..........they can do the cooking and washing up......only joking.......Tom can do that.

Take care and have a safe trip home.
