Looks like reedy are getting to grips with BRCA LIPO rules. I'm still going to wait to see if its on the list.

Just bear in mind NO lipo's are legal until the list is released. also the only NIMH cells that are definalty legal are the ones upto 3700 that are classsed as sport packs.

Wait for the list!

It would be a sensible idea to wait for the list. We don't need to waste any more money.

Well this is the thing, when I bought them they had the BRCA approved stamp on the website, but it looks like they were legal back then, but they might not be now.

Just need to wait for the new list to come out.

So are the cells advertised as something that they are not, that they were or that they still actually are?

It is all too complicated. Once the list comes out and things settle down. I'll do what I usually do - Ask Rick and Ian about cells!

The Demon cells were approved on last year's touring car list, they probably still are approved for touring cars until the new list comes into effect. Nothing is approved yet for buggies.

I agree, I will also be asking Demon what they plan to do as they sold be cells that were supposed to be BRCA legal.

the cells were legal and approved by the brca touring car section only, until the new regs came out. now they will only be legal if they fit the new rules, and also have been submitted for testing. i do think it's wrong for anyone to be claiming brca legal now till the rules come out

I agree, its not right but you can't blame them for trying to steel an advantage. It's not their problem if people buy them. They are not offering a gurrantee.
