Half a great weekend! I guess one out of two days good weather is okay. Thanks John for race control, Rick for trailer duties and all for attending. Much amusement throughout, well done Paul on Saturday.

The optima was great. It was right on the pace. With a 19T motor in it. It was my driving which let it down in the final. I was faster then everyone.....ish...... :o

I was surprised how close it was. All three of us were on the same lap, I was only behind by half a lap and that was because I crashed alot. Even Ste's e-revo was running at the same pace as us. I think we are onto something here, it was great fun.

Hosed the Slash down after it got a bit mucky today and after the tent dried off couldn't resist hanging it out to dry.

Saturdays racing was great, I loved the track there, it gives you a few more things to think about because the surface is so bumpy and has grass tarmac and a bit of gravel. I think I now have the b4 set up close to perfect for me, it has taken a while though. Had some good close racing with Ian - lap times were very close.

Had a go of Ste's XXX and I still can't believe the power it has.
Had a go of Ian's B4 and it was the same as mine.

That bloke who latched on to Ste on that stall was funny!

But I can't make our next regional so that is it for me for off-road for this summer as all our meeting are on-road from now on. Might have to make a few trips to Southport.

Sorry Dave can't justify the cost of a 4wd car + all the kit for it as well at the moment. I think I will be sticking to 2wd and the V12 indoors.

I can understand that paul but there is still enough people in the club that allready own a 4wd we just need them to bring them and race
