So was it best of 3 then or 4? As there are people in the top 20 who only have 3 results?

Yep... It was best 3 of 5 because of the raining off.

James did you win the B final at the 1st round at South lakes? I thought it was Ben, and I can't see him on the list at all?

I think it basically affects entry to different events and initial heat positions. Have look at the rules:

I don't think it makes much difference if you just do the regionals.
