Anyone go to RVRCCC last week? Was it on? Is it on this week? If so, does anyone fancy it?

I will not be there. Didn't really think it was worth the long drive.

I've got the afternoon off today now for various reasons, so I should have time to get the buggy sorted! I'll go tonight if someone else is! :p

basicaly because so many people didn't like dirthawgs after trying them for one run, without addative, and without any attempt to setup the car, it would seem to be open to anything other than spikes, which means foams will be by far the fastest

Paul did south lakes proud again by winning the A-final and beating the two 4wd's that were thrown in with us.

A discussion took place at the end of the meet regarding tyres. The decision was made by the drivers and organisers that any worn tyres can be used. I can see this leading to controversy myself - where do you draw the line between worn and too spikey?. I can also see the touring car drivers getting pee'd off when the carpet starts tufting up from peoples 'worn' tyres!

but, minispikes are soo much more gay than dirt hawgs!

new carpet's due this week and the track is being extended quite significantly.

Thought about it but it lookes like a long long day for 20 or so mins of track time, as Bury was the other week. Probably going wednesday though.

So you are back then! How was the trip, apart from long - we need the numbers!!!!
