Well I opened one of my massive wallets and bought another truck. It's a XXX-T £40 on eBay, bearings are a bit knackered, but came with a 19T motor which may be handy. Anyway can't wait to get it built and go for a play.

Was a bit gutted it was wet this morning, but decided to sort out the XXX-T and test MRT's waterproof claims.

Hitec servo was already waterproof, I put a bag over a receiver, put my 12T motor in and XXX-T was ready to go 8) .

Initial testing showed one diff bearing to be completely locked up, I swapped for a good one then went to the BMX track in the rain.

Woohoo, truck was great! No water problems and it got a soaking.

I managed some big air clearing double jumps, the truck was quite stable although I didn't really get into controlling it in the air.

Main problem was poor rear tires, so it was hard building up speed without loosing the back end.

I had a lot of heavy landings, but finally bust a ball stud doing a big cart wheel.

I thought that was it, but cleaning it afterwards noticed the rear shock tower had broken, probably a result of hitting one of the big jumps so pissed that the truck flew away from the track and landed into the railings  . I thought it survived at the time. Anyway it came with two spare towers so no worries :).

On the whole I'm pretty happy, with some good tyres this will be a serious BMX weapon.
