Really gutted to abandon the regional today :(. I think the cars are actually more fun to drive in the mud than on grass or astro turf. Thanks to everyone for their efforts getting it all ready to go.

No you can't.

It was a bad result for such hard work but I had fun. Driving in the mud is such fun. Why go indoors in the winter? We should be outdoors all the time. Just need to sort out a water proof transmitter bag.

I'm gutted the regional was rained off. I was still up for racing in the rain and having the meeting as a normal club one. John, can you get the results of the first round I want to see where I came?

really gutted it got rained off! just when I'd found the perfect tyre choice too!

mines nice and clean again now - stripped out the electrics, washed it under the tap, and then put it in the oven for two hours at 50 deg! :D

I've not tried mine yet, as it was probably water related decided it was better to get it dry before plugging the batteries in. I hosed it off when I got back, I'll try it tonight. Hopefully it was a wet sensor, I don't think there was any water in the car.

Good effort Ste! I thought similar, but was scared of ending up scraping plastic off the inside of the oven.

I figured, that if we can get away with putting PCB's in ovens at work at 80 with plastic connectors on, Phones go in there too at 50 or 60, I guessed it would be okay, and it was!

My car seemed fine today, guess it was a wet sensor, waterproofing must be the way to go.

Rick can go into smug mode with his RS Pro. Are you running it in hybrid? Sensored seems the way to go for squeezing the most out of spec motors, hybrid may be better for mod though.

hybrid so it switches to sensorless once up to a little speed, new v200 software is about to be released, which apparently has given spec motors another leap ahead of the likes of lrp sxx with a turbo function that interacts with the timing advance adjustmeant. just need a gm 13.5 motor now it won't be long before we're talking about dropping down to 17.5 at this rate
