Just noticed this thread on rctech wishing Traxxas to do an on road Slash type thing:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric-ro ... -road.html

Still feel sad we haven't managed to realise the potential of the off road Slash, maybe I'll get a second one this year...

Get a 4wd, give the optima a race for once.

Gotta admit I like the 4x4, would be nice to have something that is a bit quicker round the track than the 2wd Slash.

Traxxas are shipping them all with NiMh batteries and chargers now, shame they've not managed to go LiPo, but nice they are getting ever closer to all in one.

I wouldn't mind having an indoor class for revo'd, not the monster you have, the mini one. I really don't think 2wd slash is good for indoors due to its size and in standard form its too slow outdoors.

If you are trying to introduce a new class either get a 4wd buggy or a mini slash or revo.

The little ones may suit indoors, but I don't think they'd be brilliant on grass, and 4wd is just a pointless complication when it comes to racing.

Although any kind of racing where the chassis and electrics all come out of one box would be cool, at least I think it would be, dunno until I've tried it some day, maybe we'd just get bored and upset that someone's stock motor is faster than someone else's.
