Hey guys, just wondering how people would feel about having some club t-shirts made?

Thinking something like navy blue t-shirts (perhaps polo shirts) with 'South Lakes Model Car Club' written on the back in white maybe with an emblem/picture or even the like the green one above for the forum, then have our names in white on the front.

:)

I like the idea of white on navy. We don't really have an official logo. I like the way SLMCC rolls off your tongue and the way it hides that you're a model car geek to the uninitiated. But then a t-shirt actually advertising what we do would be good in particular at the special meetings, not that you two want to join us at those :p.

Names could be good, I wouldn't really mind with or without on that, again could be helpful for the special meetings.

Well maybe we could have SLMCC on the back (with maybe a small tc/buggy after the C where a copy right c would go) and on the front have South Lakes Model Car Club written small on the right breast

Think slmmc on right breast is ok . Depends on what type of shirts you go for . T-shirts will be cheeper with a print . polo shirts get more £££ depending on how much you want stiched onto them . From what i remember you pay by the letter . I dont mind loking into it if wanted

Not always, my mums just had some done for her 50th with quite alot of large writing on the back and names on the front and they where only £5 each, I think for what we want it would be something simmilar, polo shirts obv cost more but not much more we would just go with the majority on that one, if people are interested I'm going to get some prices together but we have to decide what we want on them before I can get some quotes... Lol

I think its a good idea for events, iron on transfers are ok to start with, see how it looks, I was thinking of doing one with "Touring Car Champion Summer Series 2008" on for James!!!!

Lol... Polo Shirts would be better, but perhaps more expensive so everyone would have to agree, I wasnt planning on iorning them on myself... its cheaper to get them printed... lol... I was thinking maybe getting one done and then letting everyone have a look and we can perhaps place an order? Though it would be cheaper to get a batch done at once...
