What are we going to do on Staurday and Sunday if its raining?

I have looked at the 7 day forcastand it ain't looking good so far.

Also, if it is really wet is it actually going to be on. As most of up there has been badly flooded in the last week or so.

It has been raining lots but we have been ok so far. I am sure we be able to get some racing done. We may have to race between showers. I haven't heard that the event is cancelled yet. I will keep an eye on the local news.

If the event is on I am still going. It is a great day out anyway. Looking forward to camping and getting drunk! :wink:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Due to the enormous amount of enquiries we have received this week, the organisers of the Cumbria Steam Gathering would like to make it clear that the event IS taking place as scheduled and is NOT cancelled.

There has been plenty of rain, but we would like to reassure our customers, that the ground is NOT flooded and the event is going ahead. The gates open at 9:00 on Saturday morning (28th July) and Sunday (29th July)

Im there! beer run thurs night maybe Rick? For those that are coming just for the racing on either day, can we have an estimated start time?

those who have them, bring gazebos, or even bettr, if someone had a huge tent.......

PS, the mini-lst's a goer, got my bits and put it together last night! woo! may even get the juggernaut going if 25 hangar have time to make me a track rod!

Good News, I am bringing the trailer on Sat morning.

I am also bringing a gayzebo aswell, if it rains like mad I have worked out that if I put the seats down in the bora I can sleep in the boot :lol:

What are we doing about food over the weekend, ie BBQ?

BBQ sounds good. I will bring burgers etc stuff, coal plus some Chilli.....yum. I have a huge tent so we can all gather in that if it rains. I also have a gazibo. I will dig it out. I also have a gas cooker.

i'll be taking my bbq again since it's big enough and glenn mentioned taking a camping stove for tea drinkers!!

£40 for a weekends insurance!!!!!!!!!!! no ta!. Tom, are you deffo okay getting the trailer sat?

I might have a spare seat in my car if anyones going fri night till sunday!

My 17-year old 205 passed yesterday, all it needed was one bulb!!!! puts me in a good position for extracting the urine if it fails!!!
