I'll be there. Before I spend anytime putting tyres on rims, what are the rules for tyres on Sunday?

Well the debate is really how everyone found running a track with foams and jumps / obstacles? If it meant that your car was no longer touring car style and more buggy like with good grip. Then I would suggest we stick to foams.

Mine wasn't so good on skinny foams, but I think jumps are definitely the way to go.

Foams! I don't see how we can be thinking about changing the rules on tyres ( or anything else for that matter) mid season, even if we are only one meeting from the end of the season - the rules for which were decided at the AGM last year!

If we are chaging tyres it should be from the start of a season and we should stick with it for the whole season!

but foams get my vote again for next winter - mainly because its alot more cost effective than spiked tyres, and puts everyone on a level playing field! no need to buy a new set of tyres every two meets to stay competitive!

I would say for the last round stick to foams with jumps so we are using a full size track and go from there. I was under the impression that the only reason the Blackpool event was with an open tyre was due tot he invitation of Ribble Valley racers.

Great mornings racing today with the new jumps and bumps going down well. Just wish we had done this earlier in the season.
