Sounds like hard work to erect a rostrum and a track at the same meeting.

we 'erect' a rostrum at every meeting Glenn! turning the trailer into a rostrum is hard work!

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a tow-a-van? Can you post some picks?

Is 'Tow A Van' just a gimmicky name for box trailer? Either way they look nice and big.

Is this something that's going to become a winter project? Or do we want to get something sorted to put the track away in this year?

is it worth carrying on with the idea of a trailer that converts into a rostrum or do we need to look at sorting out some other form of rostrum

I don't know, the current set up has worked well for the last few years. If we weren't so limited on space though it might be easier to have a separate rostrum. What sort of thing could we use as a transportable rostrum? Some kind of light weight scaffolding?

Have you ever constructed scaffolding? Won't we get into all sorts of health and safety nonsense?

we used to have a rostrum that fit into the trailer, it used square section made from tubing, with bars that slotted in to fit them together and a wodden top. Its what the step came from, and only took a few minuites to assemble. Im sure we could construct something similar again!

Good, sounds like a plan. Let us know when you've finished it. On the serious side, would it fit all the gear in?

would what fit all the gear in?? the rostrum??? the whole point of getting a new trailer is to get one that will fit all the gear in, so if thats your question Glenn, Im going to have to say yes. The new trailer will fit all the gear in.

i think the 2 main reasons we replaced the old rostrum was to get more hight, and make more space inside the trailer
