4WD look fun, but with us barely having a full 2WD class I would be reluctant to encourage trying 4WD. The cars are faster, but they're more expensive and harder to maintain and the racing isn't any better. Get one to have fun, but don't stop racing 2WD!

Ive been looking at a 4wd after the weekend :D . I cant see why we cant encourage a 4wd class if people are going to bring them as ian says we can have problems with enough for a 2wd heat . May be the way forward for summer racing ? :D I cant see why there any more trouble than a 2wd if you keep up on the mantance as you would on a 4wd tc theyve got 2 diffs ect and people dont say there a pain to look after .

There were words the other month when the on road numbers were low. Intrducing another off road class is not going to help that situation, is it?

it wont help on road, but for those of us who turn up to race 2WD off road it would be nice to be able to also race a 4WD

even though i've just bought one, i'm not sure we should be encoraging it, let them run with the 2wd's to begin with but don't score points or something

That's true....but you have a car made from tracing paper......

Are we going to let trucks run as well? I would not be keen to run the Optima or the XX if it's going to run with an e-revo. Justing thinking of the potential damage.
