erm.... stips of lead I guess, as low and central as possible, some near the front can help too, try to get some of the alloy wheel stick on type, most motor factors or modelsshops should have it.

as for tyres, schumacher mini spikes were always a favourite there, or ballistic buggy mini spikes if its damp

if you want to go fast, shumacher yellow mini spikes front and rear, and green 2 row studs if there's plenty of grip. Balistic buggy blues i think for the rear in the wet porbaby with green 2rows on the front . i'll probably get some new green mini spikes because i'm cheap!

You light weight!

Just weighed mine, I leaded up the front before the last meeting, even with my Orion 2400s in it's 1460g with my Orion 5000s about 1580g!

I've probably got close to 100g of lead in, wheel balancing weights, I just put as much as I could inside the bulkhead behind the skid plate. Then placed around the servo and front of the chassis where there was space.

I'm not sure whether to use my 2400, sell my 5000s to Tom and take the drop off in performance throughout the run, or use a 5000 and have less flexibility in the weight.

Yes they're legal, I dunno whether to hang on to them or not yet. You might not like the price, they were £75 new. If you want some cheap packs Demon's 3600s look good, I'm not sure I'd get another pack with those little balance plugs though. TrakPower's 4900s from Speedy Models for £60 has to be a good bet too, I'm up to 190 races on my one pack. No real need for two packs unless you want a spare.
