Jusy spoken to my contact and he said that Leighton hall said we can use one of the tennis courts, then we can race touring cars and buggies. Did you see the tennis courts?

Sorry Tom, don't know where the tennis courts are. Did you ask what the surface is? It could be a grass court.

OK, the tennis courts are smooth tarmac, so we can run both off and on road cars there. Works out quite well as visitors will see both classes racing. Also, I would suggest we bring along the usual toys to have a mess about with to keep the croud happy.

Time to arrive TBA shortly.

Just checked out the court on google earth. It is around the side to the right of the main hall. We could perhaps do with a couple of signs or a banner to advertise the fact that we are there.

Tom do you still have contacts that might be able to get us a banner made up cheap?
The clubs going to be a bit out of pocket at the moment i've sent the cheque off for the first lot of 10 personal transponders so that's quite a big chunk to pay out

I think the banner would cost about £100.

Ouch, it would be good to have one to promote the club. It will take a long time to make that back from new members. Do you think it would be worth it?

Not really. I think that having a sign would be better with model car racing on it and an arrow.

I think so too. You could then always have some flyers with the clubs details on for people to look at if they want. - or ask the guy at the gate to hand them out to people as they come in!

I would tend to agree. Did you manage to get a sign done at work? If not I can sort it but I need the design before Friday as I am not in next week.

i can get a banner made up on a colour plotter , we can mount it on wallpaper to keep it in once peice, we'll just have to be careful storing it i'm sure we can make it last a year without it getting too tatty and it's FREE just need a rough idea of the new look for the website
