Hi all, the club has been contacted regarding doing an event at Leighton Hall (near Carnforth) on Aprill 20th. I am guessing it will be off road. I think it would be a different sort of show for us to go to and it was very well attended last year.

Let me know what you all think, and if it clashes with anything rick?

if its a doable date, and they can sort a patch of decently short grass, sounds good!

Is anyone available to have a look at where we could race at Leighton Hall? I think the show is normally in front of the house. I think we can have wherever we want really.

It's just down the road from me. I can check it out. I have been to many classic car shows and from memory there's plenty of room. The grass isn't that flat. Its very bumpy and rutted.

There is a meeting on the 29th March at Leighton hall, so if someone goes from the car club we can say where we want to have our spot, and get it all sorted.

The spot we want will be assigned at the meeting on the 29th. The meeting involves the owner of Leighton hall and also the main chap organising the VW event.

Ok, been to Leighton Hall, nothing going on. There is no mention of an event until July. They are shut until May. The gates are open but nobody is around. Do we have a contact?
