Hi All,

This is a difficult one.

I contacted Rick and Tom first to inform them what the weather was like from Carnforth. Tom confirmed the same from John at Kendal. I then proceeded to make several calls. However this was difficult as I did'nt know whether they would be attending, Therefore I could be making calls to people and waking them up at 7.30 in the morning.

Do we create a rolecall the day before on the forum and with the list of numbers, which I do not wish to be published on this site, then decide to who will make the calls. (grape vine)

However the judgement has to pass from the area we are racing.

We need to discuss this next meeting.

Regards

The Chair

well here we are again and we didn't discuss at the last meeting!

Firstly we better get a list of people on here who want to be informed in the event of Sunday's meeting being cancelled. Any decision will be posted early on the website, but for those who can't check please post here if you want a call / text. Not the best place to post your number, so if no one has it, it will need to be emailed or something.

Next, who's going to make the decision, as last time probably should be between John and John on the morning. If people want to make their call whether to race on Saturday, no problem, if they can post on here so we know who's left. I will put up with some rain and would like to wait until Sunday to decide so if it looks like there will be enough gaps in the rain I'm happy to go, don't want to be the only one though.

Of course if anyone plans to race when it's wet, you must take some waterproofing measures, as we proved last year, touring cars with unprotected electrics don't mix well with the rain.

However, I will be up and about by 7am with little James and I will be on the forum to add my ten pence on the best thing to do.

I am planning on racing on sunday. If someone can post the 'go/no-go' decision on the forum by 8:15/8:30 ish then I pick the info up from there.
